Motherhood is Magical and otherworldly, as a doula and birth keeper, this path is my heart’s devotion and a deeply growing passion. I have a provisional certification that I am currently in training, as well as a mentorship program that is equipping with all the knowledge, professional training, and wisdom from very experienced doulas. I am also the administrator for a reputable private behavioral health practice in Broward County. I view my role as someone that holds and creates space for the family’s nervous system and primarily for the mother and baby’s emotional wellbeing by providing a calming guiding voice and a loving stare in the eyes; as well as the certitude in the moments that require courage and love. It’s important for the mother when she feels empty or feels lost and needs guiding support and ease without foregoing her own needs and well-being in the process.

Even though birth is instinctual and innate to our bodies we are made for community and to be witnessed in our rawest, most vulnerable and powerful self. My desire is for my presence to mirror back to the mother the power she carries

within herself to birth Life-to birth LOVE.

I am also a Birth and Family Photographer; I am deeply passionate about capturing the purest and rawest moments of love as a witness during births. Being a witness during a birth for a family is truly life changing and capturing those moments with photos is a deep passion of mine.

I believe birth is truly the definition of love, and photography allows for this LOVE to be captured in a moment frozen in time...

THE TRUTH IS DOULAS HAVE BEEN PRESENT IN ALL CULTURES AND TIME PERIODS AS COMPANIONS DURING BIRTH. A COMPANION DURING BIRTH IS A LONGSTANDING CULTURAL PRACTICE THAT HAS BEEN REDISCOVERED. NOW -WHAT IS A DOULA? THE WORD DOULA MEANS “SERVANT OF WOMAN” A DOULA IS A COMPANION THAT IS THERE FOR YOU, TO SERVE YOU AND YOUR BABY. POETICALLY SPEAKING A DOULA IS THERE TO MOTHER THE MOTHER AND IN MANY CASES THE ONLY OTHER PERSON EXPERIENCED IN BIRTHS THAT IS NOT PART OF YOUR OBSTETRICS OR MEDICAL TEAM. THIS MEANS HER PRIORITY IS YOU, YOUR BABY, AND FATHER OR PARTNER BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER BIRTH. SHE WILL PROVIDE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DURING YOUR LABOR.
